A full day tour in the Saint-Emilion appellation to discover the famous and typical village, the estates and the legendary wines.
09.30am Depart from Bordeaux Tourism Office. Located on the right bank of the Dordogne River, the thousand-year-old vineyards of the Saint-Emilion area boast a worldwide reputation.
10.30am Arrive in Saint-Emilion and participate in a visit and wine tasting session in a Classified Growth Château of the appellation. During the visit you will discover the technical facilities of the Château and understand the vinification process. Then, enjoy a personalized wine tasting session.
11.30am Visit of a second Classified Château followed by a local wine tasting.
12.30pm Enjoy some free time for lunch and personal discovery.
Then, discover the gorgeous village of Saint-Emilion thanks to a guided walking tour.
3.30pm Experience a third and last wine tasting session of a local and carefully selected winery in Saint-Emilion or surroundings (Pomerol, Fronsac, Lalande de Pomerol …). Here, the predominant grape variety is Merlot, often blended with Cabernet Franc and smaller quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon.
5:30pm Return to Bordeaux Tourism Office.
